Sony has just launched a pair of full-frame E-mount lenses: FE 16mm F1.8G and FE 400-800mm F6.3-8 G OSS.
In particular, Sony FE 16mm F1.8 G is an E-mount full-frame lens, 16mm focal length, maximum aperture F1.8, suitable for landscape, architecture, starry sky, vlogging and filmmaking. The lens has an optical design including 2 AA lenses (advanced aspherical), 1 Super ED lens (super dispersion) and 3 ED lenses (dispersion). Minimum focusing distance 0.15m (AF) or 0.13m (MF), maximum magnification 0.25x (AF) and 0.3x (MF), supporting close-up shooting.

The lens measures 73.8 x 75mm, weighs 304g, and integrates 2 XD (super dynamic) linear motors for autofocus and subject tracking. Control features include a focus ring, a custom focus hold key, an AF/MF toggle switch, an aperture lock switch, a direct control aperture ring, etc. The product is designed to be dust- and moisture-resistant thanks to its fluorine coating for increased durability.
The Sony FE 400-800mm F6.3-8 G OSS is the first full-frame E-mount lens in the G series to reach a super-telephoto focal length of 800mm. The focal length range is from 400mm - 800mm, extending to a maximum of 1,600mm when using a 2x teleconverter, suitable for shooting birds, wildlife, sports, aircraft and landscapes. The 11-blade aperture system creates circular bokeh, 6 ED (extra-low dispersion) lenses reduce aberration, control flare and ghosting.

The lens incorporates two linear motors for AF, supporting tracking at 120fps on the Alpha 9 III. The focus range switch (Full/10m-NEAR/∞-8m) is optimized for each subject. Optical SteadyShot anti-shake technology supports handheld shooting, more effective when combined with anti-shake in the Alpha body.
Sony FE 400-800mm F6.3-8 G OSS has a suggested retail price of VND 69.99 million, while Sony FE 16mm F1.8 G has no official price yet.
